Why CyberCare
Built for Australian small business
CyberCare isn't a corporate product squeezed down to fit. It was designed from scratch for businesses like yours.
$7.23 a day for $2M of cover
Less than your morning coffee. Full $2,000,000 aggregate limit from our entry-level plan. No sub-limits, no fine print exclusions that leave you exposed when it matters most.
Unlimited retroactive date
If you have an undiscovered breach that started before your policy began, you're still covered — as long as you weren't aware of it at inception. This is genuinely rare. Most policies cover from day one only.
Mills Oakley on your policy
Australia's leading cyber breach response lawyers are pre-appointed on your policy. If the OAIC comes knocking or you need to notify patients of a breach, you have legal support from the moment you call.
Quote & bind without a broker
CyberCare is the only $2M cyber policy in Australia that can be quoted and bound entirely online without underwriter review. No phone calls, no proposal forms. Just a price and a bind button.
Lloyd's Syndicate 5000 — Travelers
Underwritten by Travelers Syndicate 5000 at Lloyd's — the world's largest cyber insurer by premium. A+ rated security with 25+ years of cyber claims experience. Your claim will be paid.
24/7 incident response
A pre-approved panel of IT forensics, legal and public relations specialists responds to your incident. First responder is an IT security specialist. Our experienced claims team is available to help you through the process.
Eligibility
Is your business eligible?
- Australian ABN or ACN — you must be registered to do business in Australia.
- Annual revenue under $20 million — CyberCare is designed for SMEs. Revenue over $10M may require underwriter review.
- Anti-malware software installed — must be active on all endpoint devices and updated at least daily.
- MFA for remote access — multi-factor authentication required for all users with remote access (VPN, Office 365, etc.).
- Regular data backups — at least monthly, stored separately from your network, with recovery tested.
- Not an excluded business type — crypto assets, gambling, SaaS platforms, real-time trading systems, and a few others are excluded.
- No claims in the last 5 years — prior cyber claims trigger referral to an underwriter and may affect pricing.
